Cascais Agenda 21
Estoril is part of Cascais region, which in 1996 signed the Global Action Plan - Local Agenda 21.
Local Agenda 21 is a program of action for local sustainable development - including systems and processes aimed at integrating the environmental, economic and social planning process - and based on a strong partnership between the various local actors. It is simultaneously a long term Strategic Plan and an Operational Plan for action addressed in the short term.

Cascais Natura
It was created to promote and conduct research and projects to preserve the natural heritage of Cascais, as well as stimulate the population and various social and economic awareness of sustainability challenges. The CCE has partnered with Cascais Natura to support local projects for the preservation of nature and offers them as CSR programs to events held in the CCE.

The Cascais Energy Agency is a private, non-profit organisation whose aim is to contribute to a more efficient use of energy and promote renewable energy in the region.
